Terms for renting a moving van

This is a translation. The Danish terms apply.

When you rent a moving van

1. the person who makes the booking on our website is responsible for the van
2. payment is made in advance by MobilePay/Vipps or bank transfer
3. you are responsible for checking the van, both at pick-up and at return. Take photos. When you return it, send the photos in the MMS thread.
4. the van must be returned to the address where it was picked up, and the key returned to the key box you were given.
5. you must pay any bills sent afterwards because of damage
6. you must pay any bills sent afterwards because of glass damage
7. you must pay any bills sent afterwards because of fines
8. you can help us a lot by telling us about any damage you have caused
9. the van comes with the amount of diesel stated in the contract and in photos, and must be returned with the same amount. Otherwise 250 kr is added and the cost of the missing diesel is invoiced
10. you must pay for extra km driven. Otherwise 250 kr is added and an invoice is sent.
11. if the van is not back by the agreed time, 500 kr is added for the first 2 hours, and after that the daily rate for the whole day. If the van is not rented out, the rental can be extended at the daily rate by calling us. Call and ask if it is possible. We will then send a new contract.
12. Cancellation must be made no later than 5 days before the agreed rental date. Later cancellation means paying the minimum rental price for the number of rental days + invoice fee. We are always open to talk, though.
13. A van that is not picked up is invoiced according to the rental agreement + invoice fee
14. If the police seize the van during your rental period, you are liable for the value of the van
15. The key must be back in the key box after the rental, by 7:30 at the latest. Otherwise the rental continues, as we cannot use the van. See point 11.
16. Driving abroad must be reported. It requires extra documents.
17. All drivers of the van must be registered by name and licence number when booking.

Lets you move yourself with a van with a tail lift that you can drive on a standard car licence (B).

If you have a problem on the road, there is roadside assistance. If it is your own fault, the excess is 250 kr. If the van breaks down, the excess is 0 kr.

Prices

• There are 2 straps in every van. Straps missing at return cost 500 kr each.
• Freight companies and parcel delivery, e.g. GLS deliveries, cost 100 % extra.
• All vans have tracking.
• All rentals exclude diesel and include VAT.
• Any other agreements must be made by e-mail. Anything else is agreed by calling +45 22 60 56 60.
• Missing payments etc. cost 250 kr each.

Damage and excess

The driver is normally liable for damage with an excess of 7500 kr. It can be reduced to 3500 kr by paying 300 kr in advance for the 1st day and then 100 kr/day. When driving abroad, the excess cannot be reduced.

Note: careless driving, alcohol etc. are the driver's responsibility, and any damage is not covered by the insurance.

Glass damage costs 300 kr each. Extra km driven cost 3.50 kr per km. If you bought extra km and did not use them, we refund you.

Payment

Payment is in advance, either by MobilePay/Vipps 35162 or bank transfer to 7780 0006780993.

The day before the rental, an SMS/MMS is sent to your phone with the contract, codes and information. There is information in all the vans. Please read it.

Information

You must give your name, address, phone number, licence number and e-mail. Giving false information is a criminal offence.

The rental period is from 8:00 to 7:30.

When you book a van, the booking is binding, and you hereby waive your 14-day right of withdrawal.
